David Graham (Swim Coach)
David began competitive swimming at a young age and gradually rose to the level where he was winning Ulster and Irish Championships in events ranging from 200m Butterfly to 1500m Freestyle. During the last two years of his swimming career he trained at the University of Bath, training under GB Olympic Coaches and alongside Olympic swimmers.
He was on the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Panel for 2006. However, not being selected for the games prompted his move into Triathlon. This proved to be successful as he won Irish Championships in Triathlon and Duathlon in 2009 and competed internationally at Elite level for two years. This period of time also broadened his horizons into two different disciplines (cycling and running) and opened his eyes to a whole new approach to training.

He has now gone full circle and returned to the pool, competing as a swimmer and concentrating on shorter ‘sprint’ events. In 2012 he won titles in 50m, 100m and 200m Butterfly at the Ulster Championships. However, his focus is no longer his own training as he now concentrates on training others using his experience across several sports and his successes and failures as a guide.
