The Dalriada Glenarm Triathlon is back and promises to deliver heaps of fun and great racing. Building on the success of previous years events, that “sprint distance triathlon on a Wednesday evening” everyone was talking about last summer promises to be bigger and better than ever. As part of the Dalriada festival there will plenty happening to entertain friends and family including a duathlon race for the kids.
The sea swim will be held in the sheltered waters of Glenarm bay with a beach start making the event suitable for beginners and experienced athletes alike. The bike route sees you climb and descend through the beautiful glens of Antrim before completing the run through the grounds of historic Glenarm Castle. As well as the individual race we also have a relay and kids duathlon for all those budding triathletes of the future.
After the race refreshments will be provided and there will be a prizegiving. All race time splits will be recorded by timing chip and published on the TI website.
Entries are now open for all events via www.entrycentral.com
